Arrive
Your self-catering holiday on the Isle of Skye begins as you depart from the picturesque Isleornsay pier and arrive at Eilean Sionnach via a short boat ride. Clamber ashore (sturdy footwear or wellies required) and arrive on your own private island, your home from home for a few days.
Relax
The island may be rugged but the cottage is packed full of home comforts, little extras and tasteful decor. The spacious lounge offers plenty of room for up to eight people to relax and unwind by the wood burning stove (wood is provided).
Eat
Your cooking and eating experience at Eilean Sionnach cottage will be a far cry from the hardships endured by the lighthouse keepers of days gone by. The kitchen is fully fitted with all modern conveniences including a SMEG oven, microwave and dishwasher and a large American style fridge freezer for all your adventure supplies. No need to leave the island during your stay!
Sleep
All four luxury bedrooms at Eilean Sionnach Lighthouse Cottage are ensuite and have been tastefully decorated with high quality fixtures and fittings. The colours of the rooms have been chosen to reflect the ever changing colour palette of the natural landscape outside. Every bedroom has a Stevenson designed victorian style sash window illuminating Scotland’s beautiful coastline.
Ocean Views
From the privacy of your own 4 acre island you can marvel at the ocean views. This may be from outside in the elements, from one of the many beautiful windows looking across the Sound of Sleat or from the master bathroom which has a view of the sea as you unwind in the rolltop bath.
