At the end of 2023 we were humbled to discover that we’d been chosen to feature in The Times list of 28 of the Best Places to Stay in Scotland.
Eilean Sionnach is a place like no other and whilst there are more glamorous, more polished, accommodations available across Scotland and the Scottish Highlands, we like to think this listing means that people are beginning to understand and tune in to the unique kind of solitude the island offers.
Not many people will ever get the chance to experience the true tranquillity of being ‘marooned’ during their lifetime.
We can assure you, there’s nothing like it for the soul.
We do appreciate though, that it’s not for everyone. That’s ok, we’re comfortable with that. The fact is, it’s not. Not everyone will really understand what Eilean Sionnach has to offer. We’re in the process of doing something new and exciting about that and we will share more details with you very soon. We’ve been working on ways to help future guests learn about how to experience the island.
So if you think that there might come a point in 2024 that you need to relax, breathe and simply ‘be,’ and would enjoy the feeling of having no fixed agenda, nothing pressing to do but wait for the tide to turn and nowhere particular you need to go in that moment…
Maybe, just maybe an island visit could be the very thing you need to feed your soul?
Adventure awaits…
